Please reach us at admin@lifeandhopecounseling.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We provide testing and assessments, individual counseling, premarital counseling, marital and relationship counseling, therapy for children, adolescents and teens, therapy for adults, substance abuse evaluations, telehealth (video visits), and in-person sessions.
A typical 55-minute session costs $120–$150, and a sliding scale may be available if you need a lower fee. We’re in-network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, and others. If your plan is out of network, you can pay and submit receipts for reimbursement. We accept cash, credit or debit cards, FSA, and HSA.
We help people dealing with abusive relationships, ADHD, anxiety, bullying, depression, grief, pre- and postnatal mental health, LGBTQ+ concerns, parenting challenges, PTSD, trauma, and faith-based issues.
All of our counselors hold master’s degrees. They are licensed in Florida as Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). They use proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
You might want counseling if you feel sad or worried most days, have trouble at school, work, or home, struggle with family or friendships, face big life changes, or just want to learn new skills to feel stronger.
We follow HIPAA rules and Florida laws to protect your privacy. All records are stored securely, and what you share stays between you and your counselor unless you give written permission, or the law requires otherwise.
At your first visit, you fill out some simple intake forms, talk with a counselor about your concerns, set goals together, and make a plan for future visits. Most sessions last about 50 minutes.
